On Sunday 22 August 2021, African Hills Safari Lodge was fortunate to receive 24 tortoises from Friends of Free Wildlife which were released on to the 6 800 hectare, fully enclosed Plumari Private Reserve located at the foot of the Magaliesburg Mountains in Gauteng.
